Max Harper, 26, is an environmentally-focused filmmaker, social entrepreneur and Brower Youth Award Winner. Some of his first advocacy videos played on the JumboTrons of Colorado Springs' mega churches in a project to unite local organic farms and Christian churches over shared values and shared harvests. In 2005 he formed his own production company producing for clients such as Earth Island Institute's Brower Youth Awards. In July of '08 he had the great fortune of being invited to work in the New Media/Video Department at the Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago at the run-up to the general election. There he piloted the concept for the Blueprint for Change videos, and shot/directed/produced countless others. After producing videos for Change.Gov on the Presidential Transition Team, Max worked with Energy Action Coalition in building their Power Shift video program (www.powershift09.org).
